Application forms can be obtained feom the office of the institute in Administrative building on payment of Rs. 300/- (A Demand Draft in favour of TAYYIB MUSLIM POLYTECHNIC Kadapa). The application forms duly filled in with the required enclosures mentioned in the application from should be sent to the principal for further action.

Eligibility Criteria

    Minority Students

  • Candidates applying against the minority quota should be from Minority Students (Linguistic and religions minority) ordinally residing in the state of A.P. as defined in G.O. Ms. No. 646. dated 10-7-1979 and its subsequent amendments and need not necessarily have qualified in the "Common Entrance Examination for admission into Polytechnics" (CEEP).
  • candidate should have passed S.S.C Examination held by A.P. State Board of Secondary Education or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh.
  • There is no age restriction for admission.
  • Candidates found suitable for admission will be called for an interview. They will not be paid TA/DA. They should come with all originals along with xerox copies were enclosed to the application form at the time of submission application. The decision of the selection committee will be final.

  • Non Minority Students

  • A pass in "CEEP" conducted the director off Technical Education, Govt. of A.P. Hyderabad, Besides pass in S.S.C.

    Rejection of Application

  • The Principal or the competent authority reserves the right to reject the application received from the candidates if.
  1. The Application forms are incomplete and required certificates are not enclosed.
  2. The Candidates fails to satisfy the conditions of eligibility.
  3. The Candidate furnishes false or in correct informations.
  4. The information in the form is illegal.
  5. Application form received after the due date.

Note : In case the application is rejected. on correspondence will be entertained not fees paid will be refunded no certificate shall be accepted after the due date.


Selection of students will be made strictly in accordance with instructions issued by the Government of A.P. vide G.O. Ms. No. 135, dated 9-4-1994 (ie) either.

According to merit in the examinations to be conducted by the management.


According to marks obtained in the S.S.C Examinations


According to merit in the CEEP examinations conducted by the Director of Technical Education, Hyderabad as decided by the management committee.

Documents required at the time of Admission

For the candidate selected for admission the following documents are required to be furnished in original with two xerox copies of each.

  1. Marks card of S.S.C
  2. Transfer Certificate (at the time of admission only)
  3. Character Certificate
  4. Study Certificate IV to X
  5. Residence Certificate
  6. Physical Fitness Certificate
  7. Caste Certificate if belongs to SC/ST and BC
  8. Income Certificate


The fee prescribed by the government will be charged. At present the fees prescribed is Rs. 25,000/- per annum by the Govt.


Polycet qualified candidates are eligible for Jagananna Vidhya Deevena (JVD) and Jagananna Vasathi Deevena and can avail other Central and State Government Scholarships also.

Minority Students can also join Polytechnic in our college through Minority Quota. The students who are eligible for National Scholarships can apply through Minority Quota, in which the student need not to pay any kind of college fee, he has to pay the building fee related to college as other students.

Merit students can avail scholarships through AICTE’s Pragathi Saksham Scheme.

Caution Deposit

A caution deposit of Rs. 200/- will be collected from each of the student. which is refundable at the time of laving the institution after adjusting towards any loss / damage of equipment caused by the student.

Library Development Fee

A Library cess of Rs. 50/- will be charged for supplying identity card and Library card.


The hostel for students is provided by the institution which is managed by the students and no hostel is provided for out station girls students. they have to make their own arrangements for boarding and lodging.
An amount of Rs. is to be paid towards hostel deposit.


A Minimum of 80% of attendance in each theory and practical subjects is compulsory to become eligible for the examination.
